Set up by the British Heart Foundation, February is all about raising awareness of heart disease and treatments.

Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer – so it’s time to show your heart some love – by making small changes towards living a healthier lifestyle.

The British Heart Foundation has set up some great challenges to help you do this.

DECHOX

The UK’s first ever DECHOX – a nationwide sponsored challenge to give up chocolate for March and raise money for lifesaving heart research. Any kind of chocolate treat including ice cream, cake and even the chocolate sprinkles on your morning coffee are all off limits during March.

The British Heart Foundation will be rewarding choc-less champions who raise lots of money for this great cause – but be quick, you have until 28 February to sign up.

No Smoking Day

If you want to quit or want to support someone trying to quit – get involved in No Smoking Day on 11 March.

10 Minute Challenge

Although we’re already quickly approaching March, there’s still time to sign up for the Heart Month 10 Minute Challenge. They’re small changes and will fit into the busiest of lifestyles, you’ll feel inspired to get active and eat well.
