Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to a road accident in Hull that has left a motorbike passenger with life-threatening injuries.

The bike, a white Honda, was being driven away from Noddle Hill Way along Kestrel Avenue in Bransholme at around 1.25am on Sunday, February 8, when it came off the road.

Both the driver, a 31-year-old man, and his pillion were flung from the bike and suffered serious injuries.

Police said the passenger was left with life-threatening head injuries, adding that the 24-year-old, who has not yet been named, is now receiving treatment at Hull Royal Infirmary.

Humberside Police want to talk to people who may have seen the accident or the bike in question before the collision.

Witnesses can ring police on 101 and quote log 45 from February 8.
