Fed’n’Watered is Hull’s very own community café: a place to recharge and meet up with friends, family and work colleagues. Serving everything from freshly brewed coffee, savoury snacks and hot meals to delicious Italian gelato, it’s the ideal spot to take a break and set yourself up for the rest of the day. The best part is that they are open Monday-Saturday 7am-10pm and Sundays 9am-10pm, so whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, there’ll always be a comfy seat and space to relax.

Pop in for breakfast on your way to the office or grab a treat after the school run. A wide range of filling and nutritious bites are available, such as mixed seed and nut porridge and hearty bacon and egg baps. If you’re after something really special, you’ll be spoilt for choice with their morning continental selection. Customers can also refuel at lunchtime, with an option of yummy sandwiches, tasty hot meals and freshly prepared dishes. Traditional sandwich fillings like tuna and cheese can be found amongst the more adventurous chicken pastrami and hoisin duck wraps. Or if you fancy something on the lighter side, opt for a warm soup or salad and pasta dish. With many meals packed full of super-foods such as avocado, you’ll leave the café feeling ready for the rest of the day, whether you’re spending it shopping, working, or exploring the city’s culture and heritage.

Then of course there’s the creamy gelato ice cream, courtesy of an Italian family that has been making it for two generations. With the largest selection in the whole of East Yorkshire, it’s hard to resist the mouthwatering offerings of strawberry cheesecake, Eton mess and pistachio. Indulge yourself further with exquisite crepes or authentic Belgian waffles smothered in a choice of cream, Nutella or white chocolate sauce. With such a range of tempting desserts, we imagine that those with a sweet tooth find it hard not to go back for thirds.

Once you’re fed you’ll need to be watered, and that’s where this brilliant feeding spot has even more to offer. Old favourites like cappuccino, mocha and a selection of herbal teas can be found on the menu, as well as new Mediterranean experiences like velvety sipping chocolate – a must for chocoholics! Alternatively, keep it cool with a nutrition-packed smoothie or refreshing ice cold frappé.

It’s good to know that Fed’n’Watered pride themselves on providing ethically sourced beverages to their customers. By partnering with THREESIXTY° Coffee, a Rainforest Alliance Certified supplier, the origin of the coffee is fully traceable. Whatever the origin of the bean, customers have the opportunity to check the exact coordinates on Google Maps. Furthermore, Fed’n’Watered promise that their coffee is premium quality, organic, from protected sustainable and via Fairtrade operators, so you can feel even better when sipping that moreish macchiato.

Clearly passionate about technology, Fed’n’Watered also acts as a power station for your phone thanks to free wireless charging available. This means that whilst you leave feeling refreshed, your devices can too. On top of all this, the welcoming team is passionate about customer loyalty, offering one point worth 10p for every £1 spent. Once you’ve saved up £2 or more, you’re able to redeem it on something delicious.
