Goole and Hornsea benefit from funding packages

The High Street Fund Grants from East Riding Council has entered its sixth round of funding.

Goole has received just over £10,000 in funding from East Riding Council.

The town council have been awarded £7,300 to install new lighting and electric power points in the pedestrian plaza, so more events can be held there.

And £3,000 will go towards Goole Beach Day to boost the town’s visitor numbers.

Hornsea has also received £10,000 from the High Street Fund, which will see a proposed heritage scheme brought to life – including a special trail celebrating the town’s pottery.

Bridlington’s also benefited with a £5,000 grant to improve it’s Old Town Gallery to increase the number of visitors.
