It’s not every day that the city of Hull pops up in an unexpected place, especially not halfway across the globe at an internationally renowned visitor attraction.

But when the millions of visitors that attend the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Disneyworld, Orlando look up at the departure board at Harry Potter World’s ‘Kings Cross Station,’ it’s a Hull Trains service that they’ll see – the 9:34am Hull Trains service from King’s Cross to Howden is on time.

Universal Studios has built a lifelike King’s Cross Station ready for visitors to catch the Hogwarts Express from King’s Cross to Hogsmede at platform 9 3/4. Like the rest of the park, every detail has been thought of, including a departures board with trains that actually do leave King’s Cross.

Will Dunnett, Managing Director at Hull Trains, explains: “Hull Trains is one of the smaller train operators in the UK and so it’s amazing to see our name at one of the world’s biggest visitor attractions thousands of miles away. It’s a great coup for the city of Hull and the Hull Trains service!”
