Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a 14-year-old boy being threatened by a man in Hull.

The boy was on Walton Street between 4.45pm and 5pm on Wednesday January 7 when a man on a bike stopped and began to speak to him.

The man, who was white, in his late teens, slim and about 5ft 5ins tall, then asked the boy to follow him to West Park.

When the boy refused, the man then threatened the boy before a passer-by intervened, escorting the boy from the other man on to Anlaby Road.

The suspect followed the second man and the boy, claiming to be the boy’s brother, before cycling off into the park.

The boy was unhurt following the incident, but police are still keen to speak to both the man on the bike and the second man, described as white, in his 30s or 40s, with dark hair, a medium build and a Welsh accent.

Anyone with any information should call Humberside Police on 101 quoting crime reference number 2090584 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
