Following their relegation, Hull City are having to make some big decisions regarding their squad.

Hull City have announce their squad list for the 2015/16 season.

It’s been confirmed that Liam Rosenior, Paul McShane, Yannick Sagbo, Maynor Figueroa, Steve Harper and Joe Dudgen will all be departing from the club due to their contracts coming to an end.

Alex Bruce and Stephen Quinn have all been offered new deals with the club.

The departure of Paul McShane will see an end to a seven-year association with the Tigers which began back in August 2008. He then made a permanent move to the club the following year. Overall, the Irish defender made 136 appearances for the club and scored five goals, including one that effectively sealed the Tiger’s promotion to the Premier League back in 2013.

Meanwhile, Liam Rosenior leaves after playing 161 times for the club. He signed in October 2010 and the full back was soon popular with the fans by adding much needed experience. He helped make Tigers history in the 2014 FA Cup Final where they made their debit in the UEFA Europa League.

Veteran goalkeeper Steve Harper will depart after making 31 appearances for the side whilst Joe Dudgeon, Yannick Sagbo and Maynor Figueroa all racked up 127 appearances between them.

In a statement from Hull City, Manager Steve Bruce says:

“Regrettably, following relegation we have made the decision to release the majority of those players whose contracts have expired. We would like to place on record our thanks for the service they have given to the club, particularly our two longest serving players Liam Rosenior and Paul McShane. Both players have been outstanding for us and they leave with our very best wishes for their futures.

“The aim now is to retain as many of the remaining squad as possible and look to add some new faces this summer as we bid to compete at the top end of the Championship and bounce straight back into the top flight.”
