Police raids on six houses in west Hull led to the arrest of seven suspected drug dealers yesterday.

And large amounts of cash and drugs were seized as part of Humberside Police’s Operation Montana, set up to target organised crime and drug supply.

A representative of the force added that a cannabis factory had also been uncovered.

Two women, aged 31 and 29, and two men, aged 24 and 35, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and money laundering.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man and woman were both arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and two counts of theft.

A man, aged 66, was arrested suspected of possession with intent to supply drugs.

Because of the large scale of Operation Montana, officers from six divisions of Humberside Police were involved in the raids and arrests.
