A Hull motorist’s road rage actions have turned him into an overnight YouTube star – with videos of his outburst going viral.

The video-sharing website has so far had more than 1.1 million hits on footage of Ronnie Pickering’s rant against a motorcyclist.

Unfortunately for 54-year-old Mr Pickering, his tirade had been captured in the biker’s helmet-cam. The film shows the grandfather challenging the motorcyclist to a bare-knuckle fist fight and repeatedly saying his name.

The motorcyclist initially overtakes Mr Pickering. The motorist then asks the biker if he knows he who is talking to. The motorcyclist questions if he really cares, but asks anyway. “Ronnie Pickering”, Mr Pickering shouts over and over again.

Mr Pickering has apologised, while Humberside Police is looking at the YouTube film to see if any crime has been committed. The force adds that it has received no official complaints.
