Thousands of prospective students from near and far will descend on the University of Hull this month.

The uni is opening its doors on June 13 and 27 for two open days that will offer a glimpse into campus life for those interested in studying in Hull.

Visitors will be able to explore the site. From the Brynmor Jones Library, which has recently undergone a £28 million redevelopment, to the bustling students’ union and other state-of-the-art facilities.

They will also have the chance to mingle with current students, as well as to meet their potential future lecturers and professors.

But that is not all – attendees can take part in mini lectures and seminars for an insight into their chosen degree. Plus there will be tours of the all-important student digs dotted about campus.

Both Professor Calie Pistorius, Vice-Chancellor of the University, and Richard Brooks, President of Hull University Union, will be present on the days to welcome prospective students and answer any questions.

Tours of the city will complete the open day experience, as Hull gears up to become the UK’s City of Culture in 2017.
