Lowgate closed to traffic from 10am as scenes of Channel 4 series National Treasure, starring Robbie Coltrane, Julie Walters and Andrea Riseborough, are filmed in the Three John Scotts pub – which is doubling as London courthouse the Old Bailey.

Diversions have been put in place via Silver Street and High Street, while the road will reopen to traffic at 5pm.

Four-part drama National Treasure looks at the impact of accusations of historical sexual offences against a celebrity. It is due to air later this year.
