The chairman of Wheelchair Sports Hull says potential future Team GB athletes could be lost due to a lack of funding.

Wheelchair Sports Hull chairman Daryl Jones fears future potential Paralympic stars are struggling to fund their dreams.

He is calling for more recognition and help for disabled sports in Hull.

He says: “Over the last two years we’ve raised over £15,000. As soon as the money comes in it’s going back out because there’s so much money that’s needed in disability sports and it’s simply not there. We are losing stars of the future.”
