The Neighbourhood Network Hull awards evening was held recently with volunteers and groups from across the city being honoured for their work in the community.

It was a fantastic evening of celebrating some great achievements and KCOM was delighted to be involved as an event sponsor.

Brendon Smurthwaite, KCOM’s Community Coordinator, said: “This was the second successive year that we’ve supported the awards and it was a real privilege to be involved.

“There were so many people in the room who have done so much for their community and picking the category winners must have been a very tough job for the judging panel.

“Every nominee was a winner really and it was great to see so many people supporting the event.”
