Humberside Police officers are visiting vulnerable people to educate them about the dangers of rogue traders and distraction burglaries.

The force is raising awareness to help prevent people falling victim to distraction burglaries and is providing advice about how to deal with bogus callers in a week-long crackdown.

The number of distraction burglaries reported in the region has fallen from 160 in 2014 to 127 last year.
