Jailed former police chief Colin Andrews dismissed by Humberside Police

A former chief superintendent of Humberside Police has been dismissed by the force, after being jailed for a number of offences earlier this year.

Colin Andrews was sentenced to 12 months in prison and a five year restraining order after being found guilty of charges including witness intimidation, aggravated stalking and harassment.

He was formally dismissed at a misconduct hearing at Police Headquarters on Wednesday June 3rd, and has the right to appeal the decision.
