Man robbed near Hull hotel

Police are hunting three men after a 20-year-old was threatened and robbed near the Mayfair Hotel in west Hull.

The victim was walking home on his own following a night out when he was stopped by the unknown men, who demanded he hand over his things.

The 20-year-old, who was unhurt in the incident, gave them money and a large white Binatone novelty 80s-style mobile phone.

Humberside Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the robbery, which happened on Lambert Street close to the hotel car park at around 3.50am on Tuesday.

The offenders are described as white and aged in their late teens or 20s. One was around 5ft 10in, skinny and wearing a brown chequered baseball cap, dark blue Adidas hooded top and light grey tracksuit bottoms.

Another had a heavy build and was wearing a Nike flat cap, black hooded top with silver Nike tick on the chest and black jogging bottoms.

The third suspect was skinny with light brown hair. He was wearing a white hooded top and baby blue tracksuit bottoms.
