People in Newport, East Yorkshire may be able to help police track down a missing man.

Martin Leeds was staying in a public house in the town when he went missing. The 43-year-old, who is from Middlesbrough, was last seen at 8pm on Sunday 22 March by a family member at the pub.

The following day at about 11.20am police were informed of his disappearance, after he failed to return to the public house after leaving the previous evening.

The concern over his disappearance is heightened because he has a medical condition for which he requires medication.

Police think he may have travelled to the Sheffield area using the train network. He is white, 6ft 1ins tall, of medium build and short light brown hair shaved at the sides.

He has a north eastern accent and he was last seen wearing a blue T shirt, blue denim jeans, a camouflage jacket and white Reebok trainers.

He has an earring in his left ear and the word “FEZ” tattooed across the fingers of one hand.

Anyone with any information should call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log number 209 of 22 March 2015.
