Murder inquiry over Hull death

Humberside Police have launched a murder investigation after a man died following an “altercation” outside a house in Hull.

The 24-year-old was found by paramedics at the property on Egton Street, in the east area of the city, in the early hours of June 22.

He was rushed to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries but later died from them.

Officers were called to the scene shortly after 1am. They immediately cordoned off the area and started their inquiries.

Four people – two men aged 25 and 57 and two women aged 32 and 57 – have been arrested in connection with the death.

The 25-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of murder, while the other three individuals have been held on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Humberside Police are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident.
