Driffield’s new £800,000 library and customer service centre opens today (Monday, January 18).

The former customer service centre at West Garth closed last week.

Councillor Stephen Parnaby OBE, leader of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: “This exciting new centre is the latest community hub to be developed in key towns across the East Riding, and is part of this council’s drive to lower running costs whilst seeking to improve access to services.

“I have no doubt it will prove popular in Driffield, and we look forward to welcoming customers new and old across a wide range of services.”
