Police have launched an appeal after two Bridlington men were left with facial injuries after an assault in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

A 54-year-old and a 33-year-old – who suffered a broken nose – were both treated for their injuries after an incident in the early hours of Thursday morning outside the Telegraph pub in the town’s Quay Road.

Three men are being sought in relation to the incident.

They were all white and in their 20s, with one wearing a green T-shirt. The other wore a green and grey jacket, while the third had on a grey top.

It is thought the trio may have been out elsewhere in Bridlington prior to the incident, and police have urged any witnesses to the attack to get in touch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting CW/2089415/2015 , or to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
