Humberside Police is appealing for information that could help to identify two men involved in a robbery in Cottingham.

The incident took place at around 2.30pm on 5 February on the path between New Village Road and the train station.

A 16-year-old boy was forced to hand over the contents of his pockets by two men, both thought to be in their late teens.

One of the suspects, wearing a green Adidas jacket with its hood up, had ginger hair and a slim build, while the other, wearing a black jumper, had short dark hair and a medium build.

The boy, who was not hurt, was halfway down the path walking towards the railway station when he was approached by the men walking in the opposite direction. They continued walking towards New Village Road after the incident.

Police want anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the men involved to come forward and call 101, quoting crime reference number 2095590, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
