Police issue photo after Hull music spot attack

Hull music lovers could hold the key in the hunt to find the person who knocked a man unconscious.

Humberside Police have released this CCTV photograph of a person they wish to talk to in the wake of the incident at Beverley Road’s O’Riley’s music spot.

The attack left a man needing 20 stitches to the forehead.

Police say the incident happened any time from 8.30pm to 10pm last Saturday (March 12).

The victim suffered a forehead wound needing 20 stitches, as well as swelling and bruises to his head and nose.

He regained consciousness as paramedics tended to him.

The man was at O’Riley’s when he allegedly received a head-butt off a stranger.

Police wish to identify the man in the CCTV still so they can chat with him.

The man himself or anyone who knows him can ring 101 and quote the crime number 2175004.

They can also call 0800 555 111 and talk to Crimestoppers anonymously.
