Princes Quay’s centre manager admits she’s disappointed after another shop’s announced they’re to leave the complex. Earlier this week it was revealed the Body Shop would be closing its store in the centre.

Claire Suggitt, centre manager, says: “We are obviously disappointed about the closure of stores within Princes Quay, but we are looking forward to welcoming some new pop-up shops in the run-up to Christmas. The centre as a whole is undergoing a shift to focus more on leisure, eateries and entertainment for the whole family.

“The Superbowl, soft play and laser tag have proved extremely popular and we’re excited for the future of the centre.”

I bet she is not as disappointed as a lot of disabled people who would like to shop in Princes Quay but are unable because of the lifts that are not big enough for many wheelchairs users. i asked weeks ago and email my comments, was told it would be passed to the owners. I am still awaiting a reply, shame on you. may be if you sorted this problem you would have more customers and shops would be able to say open.
Disgusting in 2015, disabled people are being let down again.
