Public consultation has begun over the new University Technical college in Hull, offering people the chance to have their say.

The education centre will provide young people the opportunity to learn about digital technology and mechatronics – a combination of mechanics, computing and electronics.

It’s hoped that many students from the college will go into local employment, such as at Siemens wind turbine factory on Alexandra Dock in Hull.

The consultation will run until early December, with the survey available online at www.rondeadingutc.com. Members of the public can also voice their opinions on Saturday 24th October at St Stephen’s and Princes Quay. Other events are available on the website.
