Humberside Police have released CCTV images of nine people suspected of stealing goods from an Anlaby retail park.

Shop staff say they receive death threats and are spat at by drug users who steal items and then sell them on local streets.

Among the items taken from stores like Asda Living are TVs, DVDs and food. It is thought that some of the thieves arrive and leave the Springfield Way development on bikes.

When shop staff challenge them they receive torrents of abuse and death threats and the culprits have been known to spit at female members of staff, the police say.

The men should know that the police are looking for them and what they are doing can’t be allowed to continue, according to Humberside Police officer Andy White.

One female member of staff says she gets her partner to pick her up when her store closes late as she doesn’t know who is around the retail park at that time.
