Tattoos could hold the clue to catching one of the men suspected of an alleged rape outside a Hull pub.

The alleged incident happened some time between 3am and 4am on Sunday (November 15) in the city’s Great Union Street/Witham area.

Humberside Police want to speak to two men linked to the reported crime on a 21-year-old female and are appealing to witnesses to help identify them.

The woman claims she left the Jack Rabbit Slims pub to get a taxi, only to be dragged into a concealed side street by men she had seen earlier in the bar.

One suspect has two noticeable tattoos on his right arm. One says “Lacey Mae”, the other shows an anchor. His left eyebrow is pierced. He wore white trainers, white polo top, dark trousers and silver watch. He is believed to be 6ft tall.

The other wore jeans, dark jumper and benny hat. He stood between 5ft 6in to 6ft tall and had a distinctive red neck blemish. He had a silver ring and pierced right ear.

Both men had local accents, are white, 20-something and with a muscular, slim build.

Witnesses can ring 101 (ref. no 2151653) or 0800 555111.

Police are appealing for help to identify two men in connection with the alleged rape of a 21 year old woman in the Witham area of Hull in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incident is said to have taken place in a side street in the Witham/Great Union street area of Hull close to the Jack Rabbit Slims public house after the 21 year old woman left the premises to take a taxi home between 3am and 4am.

The woman reported being approached by the two men after she left the public house and who she believes she saw previously within the premises. One of the men then engaged her in conversation close by, following which both men were said to have taken hold of the woman and pulled her into a secluded side street where she was allegedly raped.
