University of Hull among world’s best

The has been named as one of the top 500 global institutions.

It has a ranking of between 401 and 500, according to the Times Higher World University Rankings, which uses tough global benchmarks across key areas like teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

The institution is in the top 3% in the world – and Professor Calie Pistorius, Vice-Chancellor at the University, says it is extremely pleasing to be recognised as one of the top universities globally.

He claims the rankings are a testament to the institution’s commitment to providing an outstanding student experience, which places an emphasis on laying the foundations for future success rather than simply obtaining a degree.

According to the latest results from the Higher Education Statistics Agency, 95% of University of Hull graduates find a job or go on to study further within six months of leaving, putting it in the top 20 English universities for employability.
