Woman robbed at knife point in Hull

Knife-wielding robbers threatened a woman before pushing her to the ground and making off with her handbag in Hull.

Police say the incident happened at about 8.10pm on Friday January 2 when the 55-year-old woman was approached by two men, one of whom was wearing a balaclava, as she walked along Cambridge Street.

Humberside Police say while one of the men threatened the woman with a knife the other pushed her to the ground and snatched her black handbag before running away down Great Thornton Street. The woman was not injured in the robbery.

The man in the black balaclava is described as white, skinny and between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 8ins tall. He is said to have been wearing black clothes.

The other man is thought to be aged between his late teens and mid-20s and is described as white, chubby and between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall. He was dressed in grey tracksuit trousers and a black jacket.
