Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko await approval from Sky Sports to reschedule their world heavyweight title fight for November 28 in Dusseldorf.

Fury is the mandatory challenger to WBA, IBF and WBO champion Klitschko and had been set to fight him at the German city’s Esprit Arena on October 24 until the Ukrainian was forced to postpone the fight with a calf injury, just two days after their heated confrontation at a London press conference.

Fury has since revealed that Klitschko has been given permission to box on November 28 and that only Sky Sports, who through their pay-per-view Box Office platform will contribute much of the finance required for one of the year’s biggest fights, need to agree to the proposed date.

“Great news! Just heard from my team (promoter) Hennessy Sports and (trainer) Peter Fury (that) Klitschko has had the all clear to box Nov 28 Dusseldorf,” Fury said on Twitter.

“It’s now down to Sky Sports Boxing let’s get it sorted, November 28 Dusseldorf Germany”.
