James Guy produced another world class performance to win gold in the 200 metre freestyle at the World Cup in Doha as Britain took their medals haul at the end of day two to nine.

Britain won three medals on the opening day and earned another six on Tuesday, with Guy adding to his 400m freestyle gold on Monday by claiming victory again in the shorter event.

Jazz Carlin won her second silver medal at the event, finishing runner-up in the 400m freestyle after taking silver in the 800m freestyle on Monday.

University of Stirling’s Ross Murdoch took bronze in the 100m and Cockermouth’s Luke Greenbank, who won two individual golds and two relay silvers at this year’s European Games in Baku, also won bronze, in the 200m backstroke.

Stephen Milne and Liam Tancock maintained Britain’s momentum with a bronze medal each in the 1500m freestyle and 50m backstroke respectively.
