England stuck with the same team they have used throughout the World Cup for their crucial clash with Sri Lanka in Wellington.

After kick-starting their campaign with a 119-run win over Scotland in Christchurch, England were looking to claim a win that would put them in a strong position to reach the quarter-finals.

They were, however, making a return to the venue where they suffered one of their worst-ever World Cup defeats to New Zealand nine days ago.

Skipper Eoin Morgan saw his side skittled out for 123 that day and, after winning the toss again, elected to bat in almost similar conditions.

Sri Lanka also named an unchanged team after they beat Bangladesh by 92 runs in Melbourne on Thursday.
