England prop David Wilson returns to action for Bath on Friday night after being sidelined for three months with a neck injury.

Wilson has not played since a European Rugby Challenge Cup game against Glasgow at the end of January and missed the entire RBS 6 Nations Championship.

But the 30-year-old former Newcastle Falcons tighthead has been included for second-placed Bath’s Aviva Premiership trip to Harlequins.

Wilson’s return is a boost for England coach Stuart Lancaster with the 2015 Rugby World Cup only four months away.

“He’s a world-class scrummager and is now England’s number one,” Bath coach Mike Ford told BBC Radio Bristol in October.

“I’d put him in the top three tight-heads in the world.”

Former rugby league star Sam Burgess again features in the Bath back row at the Twickenham Stoop, packing down at blindside with skipper Francois Louw at openside flanker and Leroy Houston at number eight.

England pair Kyle Eastmond and Jonathan Joseph line up in the centre with Test colleague George Ford at outside-half.
