East Riding residents are being encouraged to make more use of the internet.

A series of events is planned to help them get the most out of the internet, whether it’s keeping in touch with family and friends or helping them to save time and money.

The sessions are being held as part of the national Get Online Week campaign, which is running this week.

Events will take place at towns across the region, including Beverley and Bridlington, with staff at adult learning centres and libraries available to offer advice to those who want to go digital.

Those interested in taking part can drop in for one of the sessions organised by East Riding of Yorkshire Council if they have a spare hour in the day. For more details on times the events are taking place, visit www.eastriding.gov.uk/learn.
