Hollywood Bowl in Kingswood Leisure Park celebrated its impressive £150,000 refurbishment last night with a glitzy, VIP party.

The Centre, which has had a complete refresh inside, celebrates all things Americana, with feature neon ‘Hollywood’ signage, American-style ‘lane hosts’ and even a ‘Harry’s Diner’ – a classic American restaurant serving delicious freshly-made food, including burgers handmade to Harry’s own special recipe.

Food and drink can even be delivered directly to guests’ lanes while they play, so the fun doesn’t have to stop.

Any of the 26 lanes or booths in the restaurant or bar can also be pre-booked, making Hollywood Bowl perfect for celebrations of all occasions – from nights out, work functions and informal team get togethers to teenage gatherings and children’s parties, where team members are always on hand to help set up ramps and in-lane bumpers that give the little ones a great chance of beating the adults.

And as the market leading bowling company, guests can trust that they are in the safe, expert hands of knowledgeable team members, whatever the occasion.

Additionally, the Centre’s brilliant amusement area, complete with air hockey, pool tables and the latest games machines, will provide all the extra entertainment families need. There is also the added opportunity to ‘Play for Prizes’, where guests can collect tokens won on their favourite arcade games and exchange them for goodies.

Mike Podmore, General Manager of Hollywood Bowl in Hull said: “We’ve had a fantastic response to the centre so far and last night’s party was the cherry on the cake, where we were able to welcome a number of local businesses and residents to the new-look Centre.

“Now we’re looking forward to welcoming anyone who hasn’t made it down to see us yet – we’re sure they’ll be as impressed as we are. Just visit www.hollywoodbowl.co.uk/hull or call 0844 826 1461 to book a lane or area.”
