School email bomb threat charge

A teaching assistant has been charged over allegations that she used a pupil’s email account to send a bomb threat.

Zoe Gregory, 26, was arrested after claims that she wrote an email warning a bomb had been left at Ormiston Victory Academy in Costessey near Norwich, where she worked.

It purported to be from a 16-year-old girl and t his led to police raiding the girl’s home and questioning her over the threat.

Today Norfolk Police said Ms Gregory, of Blackhill Wood Lane, Costessey, has been charged with communicating false information and unauthorised computer access.

She has been bailed to appear before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on April 14.

Ms Gregory has been suspended from her role.
