A young woman will be sentenced today for orchestrating a punishment rape on a teenager after telling her: “Snitches get stitches.”

Aliyah Weekes, 19, egged on her brother to carry out the sex attack in an alleyway after she accused the victim of spreading rumours.

Following a trial, Lacquan Weekes, 18, was found guilty of rape while his sister and a 16-year-old girl were found guilty of aiding and abetting the attack.

All three defendants will be sentenced at the Old Bailey by Judge Jeremy Donne.

The trial heard that the 15-year-old victim, who cannot be identified, was made to perform a sex act on Lacquan Weekes on the evening of April 29 after being confronted by the two girls in a park in Willesden, north-west London.

Aliyah Weekes had told her “snitches get stitches” when she accused the victim of telling secrets about her and the 16-year-old.

She also threatened to make the victim “do a line-up” – street slang for giving oral sex to multiple men.

Prosecutor James Dawes told the court: “It was Aliyah’s idea. She was the one who said ‘snitches get stitches’. She was the one who said, ‘do you know what I do to hos like you? Make them do a line-up’.

“She was the one who physically threatened (the victim) and said it was her who would punch her if she did not comply.”

The 16-year-old girl also told the victim to “just do it” and “take your medicine”, the court heard.

Aliyah Weekes and the 16-year-old corralled the victim into an alleyway where she was forced to have oral sex with the boy, the court heard.

Afterwards, he grabbed her and tried to pull her back, but she managed to get away saying she wanted to get a drink before she went home, the court heard.

Meanwhile, her mother had become concerned when she did not come home by 10.30pm and had called police.
