A car bomb attack in south-eastern Turkey has killed two police officers and wounded at least four other people, according to the country’s state-run news agency.

Anadolu Agency said the attack on Friday targeted a traffic police station as well as police lodgings in the town of Nusaybin, which borders Syria.

Turkey’s security forces are battling Kurdish militants linked to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, in the town.

The agency said the four wounded people are in a serious condition.
