International Jazz Day with Panjumby & Refix

April 30th

8pm

Hull Truck Theatre

Come and join J-Night as we bring UNESCO International Jazz Day celebrations to Hull for the second time.

We’ll be celebrating with a special show at Hull Truck Theatre, headlined by Panjumby, who blend jazz, calypso and soca rhythms. Led by the tremendous lyrical phrasing and rhythmic drive of Trinidadian steel pan master Dudley Nesbitt, Panjumby features great improvisers and a knockout rhythm section.

Supporting Panjumby, we’re delighted to present the debut performance of Refix, an exciting new collaboration featuring some of Hull’s finest: Audrey Okyere-Fosu, Lyn Acton (Pearl’s Cab Ride), Scott Langthorpe (Endoflevelbaddie) and Dave Gawthorpe (Bossa Revista).
